Effective teamwork and collaboration doesn’t just happen, and it doesn’t just involve STEM researchers. We provide training in Team Scholarship and work directly with teams to create the conditions where knowledge integration and convergence can happen.
We also help individuals and organizations identify and move their research and priorities forward through ideation workshops. These can be combined with identifying flexible and expansive management approaches to turn the ideas into reality.
Team Science
Workshops
We approach supporting collaborative teams based on the Science of Team Science, Integrative Interdisciplinary Science, organizational behavior, leadership concepts, and decades of practical experience. We work with established teams to strengthen their relationships and hone their vision, establishing a plan for developing a proposal. We work with nascent teams to develop new collaborative ideas, so that the new team emerges with a plan for turning the ideas into reality.

Consulting
ATG’s trained coaches and facilitators help teams solidify, re-energize, or re-form. We combine education and coaching to help struggling teams truly work together to create outstanding research.
Ideation and Collaboration
Workshops
ATG combines proven approaches for idea generation and prioritization with experiential education in team effectiveness and development. A broad ideation workshop is designed to result in new cross-disciplinary teams coalescing around a new project with a concrete plan for moving forward.

Strategic Planning and Management
Our core and bonus team members are trained in a variety of disciplines that support goal setting, planning, and team development in the context of planning retreats and workshops. Services can be provided stand alone or in combination with other workshops.

We have effective workshops that engage the larger team or work with Community Advisory Boards to garner broad input for ideas and prioritization.
